Sweet Extracts
Luo Han Guo – Luo Han Guo is a 100% water soluble fruit juice concentrate suitable for food and beverage applications due to its reduced caloric benefits, trace carbohydrate content and flavor enhancement. This unique fruit extract is ideal in beverage mixes, energy bars, baked goods and as a taste modifier. Luo Han Guo is stable for both heat and cold processing and is available in a variety of forms and potency:
40% Mogroside V – This high intensity sweet powder is our most potent with a sucrose equivalent of 160X to 180X and features the highest concentration of the primary sweetening source, Mogroside V.
30% Mogroside V – This fine powder has a sucrose equivalent of 120X to 140X.
Momordica 80% (25% mogroside V) - With a sweetness of 100X to 120X the equivalent of sucrose, this high intensity extract is ideal for ice cream, beverages and confections.
Stevia 97% – This naturally sweet leaf is standardized to 97% Rebaudioside A (Reb A) and is approx. 250X to 300X of sucrose equivalent and is suitable for beverage, confection and low glycemic applications. Recent regulatory decisions have broadened the use applications for Stevia in a variety of products.
Natural Sweetener Blends
Perfecta™ – Designed as a tabletop replacement for sugar, this unique Luo Han Guo blend delivers a Sucrose equivalent of 4X with no calorie, all natural subsitute “perfect” for any need.
Natural Flavor Enhancer E/LHG – This zero calorie option is a combination of Erythritol, Luo Han Guo 30% and inulin (added for mouthfeel) is approx 5X sweeter than sucrose and is suitable for a variety of beverage applications.
Natural Flavor Enhancer CF/LHG – A blend of natural crystalline fructose and Luo Han Guo that can be used for reduced calorie formulations while still providing some bulk. At 3X sweeter than sugar, this formulation delivers 4 calories per gram while still maintaining a low glycemic value of 21.
Natural Flavor Enhancer CF/STE – This blend of Stevia and crystalline fructose delivers sweetness of approx 3X that of sucrose and allows for a variety of beverage and baked good applications.
